Nice idea
I think you should work a litle bit on your aquarel
the rainbow behind looks like you draged the bush too hard on it
it comes out cleaner when you just taket easyer

Can't really agree with you there. I used my nr.4 with a wet-in-wet technique softly stroking the paper. The blurryness of it was intended.
Can't really get how you could "see" that the brush was used to "hard". If you mean that the water floated out of the brush without pin-point control yeah. But again, intended.

This is a very nice piece, though I can't tell if I, too, appreciate your combination of real and surreal in this case. It feels, perhaps, a little too alien in a piece which is already a bit odd.

I do, however, love the expression. It's very appropriate and, honestly, one of the best examples of perfectly executed body language in art that I've seen.

I also love the roughness of the rainbow itself, though I'm sorry I can't say why.

In all, a nice piece :)

Like I said in the forum post it is a style that I am experimenting with. Perhaps it does look a bit alien but more intresting that my usual stuff IMO (to compare look at link.
