A small comic strip... The cute robot looks at the bird. Cute bird looks back. SPLAT!
Took me a pretty long time just to make these four frames, I hesitated on the hatch shading but in the end I'm rather pleased with the end result.
Watercolour & ink pens
*edit*
I was going to add a fifth frame to the strip but I couldn't decide what was the best option. I was thinking of a headshot of the robot with some blood spatter over the eyes. And a textframe where the robot thinks - 1. I just wanted to keep it... 2. Mine! 3. Oops! 4. Damnit, hand malfunctioned again
Just couldn't decide... So I left it as it was, bad decision perhaps...
Ah, sorry. Well the initial idea was machine meets nature and learn the tough way that animals are not made of metal and that you have to be gentle to them. It changed while I was drawing it a bit. But thats the idea that made me draw it. Hope that answer satisfy you.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
